Roger,

My apologies for taking so long to respond after our conversation.
An update on Nando.
Nando has taken over for a retiring police K9. He has been trained in Narcotics detection, tracking/trailing, as well as handler protection. He excels at anything we tried to teach him. His first week on the job he alerted to over 10K in drugs. His ability to work is matched only by his ability to 'shut down' at the end of the day and become a 'house dog'. His new handler has several small children as well as his retired K9. Nando has had ZERO problems adjusting to his new settings.

The youtube link above is the first time we had Nando doing some protection work.

He is doing really well on his tracking. From the looks of it, he is most likely going to be trained in detection work as well (most likely Narcotics) and be taking over for a retired K9 officers.

He gets along really nicely with my other dogs and loves meeting new people. VERY SOCIAL!!!
